Just a reminder that Audlem Parish Council is urgently seeking the help of people who live in the village.
As you are aware, the Parish Council is attempting to stop speculative developers building up to 120 houses on land at Little Heath and 36 houses at Mill Lane/Heathfield Road. To help our case, we need to gather information from as many villagers as possible about their travel habits during the working week (Monday to Friday).
The data we collect will be added to other evidence to support our concern that public transport facilities in Audlem are inadequate.
Please note, if more than person in the household makes regular journeys then he or she should fill in a separate form to help produce accurate statistics.
Questionnaire leaflets have been placed in most of the shops and all three pubs in the village. Please pick one up, complete it and pop it into one of the collection boxes which are in the Post Office and Williams' newsagents.
We do need you to provide your name and address to ensure that the speculators cannot challenge the validity of the data – but rest assured, this information will be treated in total confidence.
Completed questionnaires need to be posted in the boxes by 22 November at the latest please.
Thank you for your help. It is appreciated.
Because of the urgency of this survey, the file containing the questionnaire can be downloaded using the link below the picture. Please download it, print it off, complete the details and then drop the completed form in one of the collection points described above.
