As well as the usual complement of tractors charging through the village centre, Sunday will see over 100 vintage tractors taking part in the Tern Valley Vintage Ploughing Annual Charity Tractor Road Run.
The route It is an interesting mixture of roads and off-roading. You can see it shown on a map (pdf file – use the link below the photo).
The cavalcade will actually pass Audlem twice
It will pass through the outskirts of Audlem as it comes from Wood Orchard Lane, past Parkers and down Sandy Lane, onto the A525 for a few yards and then up Mount Pleasant towards Bunsley Bank.
It will be stopping at Parkers Agricultural Contractors, Sandy Lane Audlem (CW3 0BF) at about 11.15am for a pit stop where people are more than welcome to come and view the tractors.
On the return leg, it will come from Corbrook down Cheshire Street into the Square and then along Shropshire Street to turn left down Green Lane towards Adderley.
