One of the discussions among residents in Audlem is speeding traffic entering and leaving the Village, and vehicles invading pedestrian footpaths. Audlem SpeedWatch runs sessions each week. We all know that many motorists do not adhere to the 30 mph speed limit within the village.

So once again, I am appealing to the residents of Audlem: we need more volunteers to encourage motorists to follow the 30 mph speed limit and keep residents safe while walking in our village.

We are very fortunate to have a Parish Council that supports us, and we work with Nick Jarvis, PCSO, who is our contact with Cheshire Police.

Our small group of volunteers need more support. We are a friendly, social group. So if you have a spare hour to volunteer, we'd appreciate your help keeping Audlem safe.
