2003: Planning Inspector on Mill Lane

At the Extraordinary meeting of Audlem Parish Council on Thursday evening, attended by around a hundred local residents, it was suggested that the planning inspector's report in 2003 refusing permission for the Mill Lane development proposed that year be published.

We are pleased to respond as this document could be very useful to those writing their responses to the public consultation by Cheshire East Council on the current proposal for 36 dwellings on the Mill Lane site. Simply click on the link below the photograph.

As was pointed out at the meeting, most planning considerations in 2003 are likely to still apply now. The executive summary in the last two pages of the inspector's report is the most useful part of the report.
