The summer season is now in full swing at Bunbury Mill. Our regular Sunday openings are as popular as ever, and our programme of group visits by schools and senior groups is keeping our volunteers fully occupied.
Above- re-packing the leaking neck bearing on No.1 stone
Maintenance work continues throughout the year, but is restricted during the summer to emergency repairs and work which can be carried out while keeping the mill fully operational for visitors.
Right- restoring the front of the mill to its historic appearance 100 years ago.
Meanwhile our mallards have also been busy ensuring the continued population of the mill pond- always popular with children and adults alike!
While vintage cars visiting the mill provide a fascinating link to the historic mill itself.
Do come and visit us this summer. The mill is open to the public every Sunday afternoon and on Bank Holiday Monday afternoons from 31st March until the end of October.
