Sharing Our Work and Working Together to Be the Best We Can Be!

It was wonderful to see so many parents and carers attending our Parent Teacher Meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Thank you for your support with these meetings; they are a vital part of our home school partnership. I would also like to thank all of the Teaching Assistants who volunteered to cover childcare for these evenings.

Ruby Class treated us to a wonderful class assembly on Tuesday morning filled with interesting facts about the Romans including singing, battle formations, use of Latin and even time travel! They were all superstars and did a wonderful job – well done everyone!

We welcomed Year 3 Parents and Carers to school to join their children for lunch on Tuesday. It was wonderful to see the children sharing lunch and playtime with their relatives. Thanks to Mrs Robinson-Cartlidge and Mrs Gavin for providing the delicious food and to all of the Mid Day Assistants who, once again, did a wonderful job organising everyone and clearing everything up.

As follow up to our work about Internet Safety Day last week, PCSO Nick held one of his regular lunchtime drop in sessions for children yesterday, accompanied by PC Sarah Marson, to discuss anything they were concerned or worried about. As always this proved very popular and it was great to see so many children taking the opportunity to go over their understanding and key messages of online safety with Nick and Sarah as part
of this important work.
