History Society Meeting

Audlem and District History Society

The first meeting of Audlem and District History Society 2026/27 series will be on Thursday, 17th September – 7.30pm at the Scout and Guide Hall.

Our speaker will be Bill Pearson. Bill is a well – known local historian and one of our regular and very popular speakers. His talk is on “Nantwich Architects”.

Nantwich has many lovely buildings. For a relatively small market town it is perhaps surprising that it has produced 3 great architects whose works include amongst others banks, churches, stately homes and workhouses.

This illustrated talk will identify who they are and celebrate some of their achievements.

Bill’s talks are always both informative and entertaining and will be an excellent way to start our new season.
