We were treated to a wonderful festival of talent and skills on Saturday at the NEP's fifth Schoolsfest. Children
from our school presented some fantastic poetry work based on the theme of A Recipe for New Beginnings at our
School. Well done to Poppy Wycherley, Emma Mansell, Elsie May Cottrell and Libby Rayne for performing your poem
so confidently. The judges were so impressed that our school was selected as the winning school overall – a fabulous
achievement. The trophy is on proud display in school and we will be displaying a copy of the children's winning poem in
the entrance area for everyone to enjoy. The poem is also on our school website and AudlemOnline will be featuring the poem very soon – please look out for it!
We were also represented in the joint choir singing which was a super start to the day and we were delighted with the children's enthusiasm and confidence as they performed to a packed Town Square – well done to everyone who took part!
If you didn't get chance to see these contributions, our school's art work is still on display at the Nantwich Museum along with work from the other local schools. It makes for an eye-catching display! Many thanks to all of the staff, children and parents who worked so hard and supported this special event.
The complete Newsletter can be seen by clicking on the .pdf file below the photograph, and the winning Schoolsfest poem will be published tomorrow on Audlem Online
