St James runs to Africa

We are finishing the week by launching our 'Run to Africa' event today. As you are aware, this year our school is linked to Morop Primary School in Kenya and we have pledged to try and raise a £1,000 during this academic year to donate to Build Africa to support our link school.

This half term we have decided to 'Run to Africa'. It is approximately 6,682.4 miles from Audlem to Morop in Kenya. Classes throughout school are aiming to run or walk as many miles as we can using our Active Audlem path over the next two weeks to see if we can make it close to this distance by working together!

Thank you to everyone for all of the donations sent into school today for this good cause. We will be collecting throughout the next few weeks to try to get as close as we can to our pledged £1,000 target – your support is, as always, much appreciated.

ABC Childcare

ABC are looking forward to their open morning next Tuesday 2nd July from 9.30 -10.30 am. If any parents are looking for preschool and would like a chance to meet the staff and see what a morning at ABC looks like, please come along.

Schoolsfest

Schoolsfest takes place on Saturday 6th July and children from Key Stage 2 will be singing in antwich Town Square at approximately 10.00 am. An appeal for more singers has been sent out today; if your KS2 child is able to join us we would appreciate it. Please do come along to support us if you can.

A special Art Shed event is being held in the church from 10.00 am until 12 noon on the Saturday and all are welcome.
