Schoolfest 2016 – Can you help?

Schoolsfest has been running now for five years wth a different theme each year. This year the Theme is Faith Hope and Charity.All of the 3000 children in the Nantwich Schools area have the opportunity to take part.

The event will take place on the 2nd July at venues such as the Nantwich Museum, the Swimming Baths, St Mary's Church and on a Stage to erected in the Square.

Activities will include an Art Exhibition,a poetry SLAM to celebrate the work done with SPOZ, a sponsored swim in aid of the Save the Children fund, The Big Sing to celebrate the the work done with Thea Gilmore and Nigel Stonier, the Battle of the Bands, and Barny Bear Sing for smaller children.

An A5 booklet is to be produced which will provide details of the events taking place and will give local businesses an opportunity to get involved and to cover some of the costs by taking advertising in the booklet. It will be distributed to all parents in all of the schools.
