WI Ladies Wot Lunch

Ideas can be life-changing. Sometimes all you need to open the door to another life enhancing retirement activity is to ask a group of ladies, in this case Audlem WI, if they would like to form a 'Luncheon Group.'

Now I've stated this before in another of my elongated missives that I haven't trusted polls since I read that 62% of women had affairs during their lunch hour. I've never met a woman in my life who would give up lunch for sex. Shopping maybe, but never sex!

And so it came to pass that the WI Luncheon Club was formed, and a group of eighteen enterprising ladies decided to organise a monthly gathering, predominately to eat good food and drink fine wine, but in reality to have a lively debate on other peoples' life choices combined with lots of fun!
