We were delighted to be awarded the NHS Gold Self Care Award on Wednesday in recognition of our work to promote Active Lifestyles both within and beyond school. This will be presented next week to the school. We are the first school in Cheshire to be awarded with this and we are thrilled to be leading the way in promoting healthy and active lifestyle choices to all of our children and families.
The award recognises our work to promote increased activity levels within the school day including our Active Audlem laps to collect our Daily Miles and our core skills PE sessions to identify areas children are already confident and secure with and skills to focus on in our lessons
Our Key Stage 2 children have been filling school with Christmas cheer as they rehearse for the Big Switch On – 29th November. We have been impressed with how well the children have been learning the words and the energy they have been putting into their rehearsals! We are looking forward to sharing the singing with everyone at the Switch On and seeing as many Key Stage 2 children perform as possible.
