Welcome Back!

I hope you have all had a wonderful summer and I welcome you back to our new school year.
We have all been working hard to create wonderful, welcoming learning environments in all of the classrooms during the summer break and we are delighted that the new class bases and toilets for Early Years and Key Stage 1 are complete and ready to use – there are still some parts of the refurbishments to be completed during this half term and over the October half term break but the majority of the work is now complete and looking fabulous! Once all of the works are completed in half term, Year 3 will move from their current classroom into their new class base and Early Years will have their newly formed outdoor learning area completed.

A special mention to Mr Jones, our Site Maintenance Officer, who has done a wonderful job preparing school for the children to return to. Thanks also goes to the hard work of the staff team who have worked tirelessly to help prepare classrooms for the children's return to school this week.

Many of you will also have notice our newly installed all weather path round the field which looks wonderful and will ensure we can use the field for Active Audlem and daily active sessions throughout the year. Our first shared before school Active Audlem session will take place on Tuesday 18th September at 8.30am – please do come along to join us if you can.

We have had a great start to our new school year together; children arrived smart and ready for their new year group to begin on Tuesday. It was a delight to see our Reception children looking so proud of their school uniforms and they have started their year superbly this week joining in lunchtimes, assemblies and playtimes full of confidence. We also welcomed Mr Blenkiron to our school team and classes throughout school have started their new topics for this term.
