Some excerpts from this week's report
As part of National Science Week, we have held a special Science Week in school this week. The children have been involved in many exciting activities focused on our theme of Wildlife and Our Environment. Mrs Hayward and the Green Team led an informative and interesting assembly on Monday morning to launch the week. As part of their assembly, they focused on attracting wildlife in our gardens. They launched a competition inviting children across school to design or build a bird feeder made from recycled materials. The competition will run until next Monday (19th March).
Thank you for all of the bottle donations which have been sent into school today for the Friend's Easter fundraising event which will take place on Saturday 24th March starting from 11am. Don't forget, as well as the treasure hunt around the village, there will be a tombola stall, cakes, refreshments and activities to enjoy on your return to Audlem Scout Hall.
A reminder that our Easter Service will be held in Church on Wednesday 21st March at 9.30am.
Many of you will be aware of the OFSTED online questionnaire called Parent View, which parents and carers can use to give their views about school at any time of the school year. To register and complete the short questionnaire, click here – you simply need to register your email address and create a password. Once your login has been activated, it takes a few minutes to choose answers to 12 short questions about the school, such as the quality of teaching and whether you would recommend the school to other parents. Please remember, you can give your opinion of school through Parent View at any time during the school year. At the time of an inspection, you can refresh or resubmit your views and the facility will overwrite your previous response so that only one 'view' for each parent, per school, is held.
Don't forget – Parent Surveys need to be completed online or paper copies returned to school by next Friday (23rd).
Thank you.
