This week's school report from Mr Perry includes

Key Stage 2 SATs

We were delighted to receive a letter from Nick Gibb, the Minister of State for School Standards, recently praising our school for our end of Key Stage 2 SATs results. This is a fabulous recognition of the achievements of our children and is testament to their hard work and effort and the quality of teaching and learning in our school. Thank you to parents and carers for your support at home and for your ongoing partnership with us to ensure your child achieves the best they can during their time at our school.

Australia Day Fundraiser

Don't forget that on Friday 14th February, school will be holding an 'Australia Day', where children will be invited to bring a prop or wear clothing associated with the country. We welcome any donations or proceeds which will then be sent to World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF) Australia. We are also asking for contributions to a bake sale after school on this day.

Dog muck near the school

On a less pleasant note, AudlemOnline has received this from a concerned parent

On the walk to school this morning my son stood in dog muck on the path outside the school. He had to change into his trainers so that I could take his shoes home to clean them. This really disgusts me and seems to be becoming an increasing problem in Audlem. There are many pathways and pavements, and also the playing field where dog owners seem to think it is ok to leave their dogs mess, but this is NOT acceptable.

If you have a dog, please clean up after it, it really is that simple!!
