Another Busy Sporting Week!

Well done to our Cross Country team who represented school on Monday at Malbank High School. 30
children from Key Stage 2 represented our school in the final Cross Country meeting of the year and Mr
Davies, Mrs Spooner and Mrs Hayward were delighted with the effort and determination shown by all of
our Audlem Athletes – many children surpassed their expectations and should be very proud of their
achievements.

The event included a competition for those who wished to race and a fun-run for those who wanted to take part without racing. Overall our athletes achieved two golds, a silver and a bronze – a super result! Despite the heat, all the children ran well and showed excellent sportsmanship throughout the event. Congratulations and well done to everyone who took part.

Children in our EYFS and Key Stage 1 classes competed in our EYFS/Key Stage 1 Sports Tournament on Tuesday, representing their teams to gain points for an overall winner. Congratulations to Lime team who won this event overall. Key Stage 2 classes competed for the Key Stage 2 trophy yesterday and the winning team was Rowan. Well done to everyone for being such great team players in both tournaments.

Our Y3/4 Football Team are taking part in a World Cup Football Festival this afternoon at Nantwich Town
Football Club and I am sure they will do a fabulous job of representing our school – good luck to all of the
team!
