French Cafe Experience

The children in Key Stage 2 enjoyed a French Café experience on Wednesday afternoon as Year 6 children took it in turns to serve the younger children by taking orders from the menu in French. Here are a few of the children's comments on the experience:

"It was the best café I have ever been to!" Ruby M

"I had a splendid French meal. I ordered un pizza, une portion de chips, une glace a la vanilla and une citron presse – it was all delicious!" Sophie W

"It helped us learn new French words and we had French flags to wave!" Jack

"When the Year 6 waiters and waitresses came to take our order, they expected us to order in French." Tom W
