Pumpkins!

I know that families with children in Years 1 – 6 across school have been tending to their pumpkin plants carefully over the summer and the closing date for entering the ADAS Growing Competition for this year is getting closer! A reminder that, to enter this competition, children need to bring their pumpkins into school for judging on Monday 15th October. ADAS will be judging the largest (based on circumference) and 'best dressed' pumpkins and will
announce the winners in assembly on 15th October. Good luck to everyone!

Global Links and Resourceful Learning!

Representatives from our School Parliament and Global Ambassadors led our worship on Monday to launch our Build Africa project in school this year. Our school has linked with Morop Primary School in Kenya in partnership with the charity 'Build Africa'. This charity's work is focused on using the power of education to help end poverty. The children shared a presentation about what it is like going to school in Kenya for the children at the school we are
linked to and how, as a school, we can help whilst learning more about life around the world.

Councillor's Visit

We were delighted to welcome Councillor Jos Saunders to school on Monday. We invited Jos to visit school to see all of the wonderful work the children do and spend time sharing news of all of the exciting things we get up to. Jos was very impressed with the exciting projects and work we have in school. Well done to our Head and Deputy boys and girls who did a wonderful job of looking after Jos during her visit.
