Spooky Disco

This will take place on Sunday 28th October from 5-7pm at the Village Hall – tickets are available from our school office.

Friends will need as many helping hands as possible to help set up and clear away for this event – pleaselet the school office know if you are able to help out. There will be prizes for the best fancy dress as well as a prize for the best Spooky themed decorations made to decorate the hall for this event.

Children are encouraged to make a spooky decoration and bring it into school (named please) by Friday 26th October.

A Lot To Share and Celebrate

Emerald class treated parents and carers to their class assembly on Monday. They shared a 'Day in the Life of Emerald class' which included artwork, historical facts about the Victorians and work on their class book, Charlotte's Web. They impressed everyone with their enthusiasm and knowledge and skills.

Ruby class were treated to a fabulous opportunity to explore artefacts from World War 1 on Monday as they worked with Cheshire Reflects to piece together history in a workshop about their topic.

Open Morning

We had an Open Morning on Wednesday which was an opportunity to share all of the wonderful things that happen in our school with new visitors. A special mention must go to our Year 6 guides who showed our visitors around school and answered any questions they had. They all did a wonderful job.

Friends

Friends will be holding a Non Uniform day next Friday (19th) – children and staff are asked to come to school wearing non uniform for a 'gold coin' donation – all monies raised will go towards to Friends funds for school.

A reminder that Movie Night will take place next Monday (15th October) from 4pm to 6pm. There will be a choice of Peter Rabbit and The Greatest Showman on show and hot dogs and refreshments included in ticket prices.
