Since her previous newsletter, our MP has
- met with representatives from HS2, Department for Transport and the Minister for HS2, Nus Ghani MP to raise concerns.
- raised concerns regarding the decision to reduce the provision of the Tarporley shuttle bus service and to increase the cost of using it.
- promoted the Big Lottery Fund and the generous donation they have made to award £10,000 worth of funding to Waverton Parish Council and their project to create a Recreation Area for teen fitness.
- attended the High Sheriff of Cheshire Awards ceremony for Enterprise.
- welcomed the recent announcement to open new engineering facilities as part of Warrington & Vale Royal College in Winsford.
- attended the Suffrage Centenary lunch reception to help further encourage democratic engagement and participation amongst younger constituents.
- promoted the Bluebell Walk being organised by Malpas Fundraising Support Group.
- asked in the Chamber about what steps are being taken to use the centenary of women getting the right to vote to encourage greater democratic engagement.
- visited Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in my capacity as Co-Chair of the APPG on Baby Loss.
- undertaken a test drive of Nissan's LEAF electric car.
