Yesterday we ran on AudlemOnline a preview of the Audlem Festival which runs from 22nd – 26th May.

Within a few hours, the web team received a letter by email from Home Office minister Norman Baker addressing us as Festival organisers and drawing our attention to the dangers of drugs and new psychoactive substances unhelpfully called legal highs at Music and Dance Festivals.

In the interests of openness, we are pleased to publish this letter in full – it is quite long – which you can read by clicking on the file link below the photo.

We wonder, indeed, if our use of this photo of a local resident at a previous Festival might trigger new concerns from the Minister of Health if they find sausage rolls are being consumed here at the Festival.

We must add, however, that the web team is delighted we are being read so closely in at least one Government ministry in London.
