Extra Parish Council meeting

There's an extra meeting of Audlem Parish Council tomorrow, Monday 25th April, at 7.30pm in the Methodist Church Hall.

The items to be discussed are:

Closure of Audlem Post Office
To consider and resolve upon possible correspondence with Post Office Ltd

Request from Audlem West Residents' Group
To consider and resolve upon the request from the Audlem West Residents' Group that the Parish Council write to the Eddisbury MP with regard to calling in a planning application.

It's good to see the parish council swinging into action to help re-instate a postal service in the village while the huge number of comments from local residents on Cheshire East's website about the Moorsfield/Tollgate proposal shows how strongly opposed residents are to this particular development.
