Cornishware sponsors 'The Victoria Sponge'

Brambles Bake off – 29th September

British Iconic Brand Cornishware are Sponsoring another British Icon 'The Victoria Sandwich' in our Bake Off Competition!

We love being a Stockist for Cornishware and it is quite fitting that they are sponsoring the Victoria Sponge. TG Green (founder of Cornishware) bought his first pottery factory in 1864 when Queen Victoria was on the throne.

The Victoria Sandwich Winner will be in Blue & White stripy heaven when they are taking home their prize of the small Betty Teapot, Cake Stand and Mug. We also have a personalised mug for the winners of each category, these have been personalised for us by Cornishware with the wording 'Star Baker'.

There is definitely a bakey buzz around the village, we have had quite a few Entry forms back already -- but the more the merrier! Also, just to clarify, you don't need to do any baking at the Scout Hall -- just complete your entry form, return to Brambles by Friday 20th September then drop your creations off to Audlem Scout Hall between 9am and 12 noon on Sunday 29th September.
