Corbrook Flooding Update

Attached is a copy of a recent report prepared by a member of APC and sent to Cheshire East.

Editor's note:- in discussion with a local Civil Engineer (rtd) it is believed that this problem has been present for over 15 years, but the flooding frequency has dramatically increased over recent years, as has traffic density. There has been recent gulley emptying but to no avail – unless the drainage between the gulleys and to the brook are cleared this problem will continue. It may also be beneficial to protect the road with kerbstones along that stretch, and investigate where all that silt is coming from.
