Technical planning workshop

A technical workshop on Green Belt & Spatial Distribution, is to be held as part of the further work now being undertaken on the Cheshire East Local Plan Strategy. This meeting will take place at 13.30 – 16.30 on Friday 23rd January 2015 at Macclesfield Town Hall.

Cheshire East say: "As you may be aware, Inspector Stephen Pratt suspended the Examination into the Local Plan Strategy to enable the Council to carry out additional work to address the concerns expressed in his Interim Views letter of 6 November 2014.

"This work subdivides into four main work streams:

• Alignment of Housing & Employment Strategy
• Objectively assessed Need & Housing requirement
• Revised Green Belt Assessment
• Spatial distribution

"This workshop will address matters related to the final two of these topics."
