ADAPT Saturday Market. Saturday 3rd October Lord Combermere Carpark.
The nights are drawing in, but unusually this year the early autumn temperatures have remained higher than normal, so we might have a few markets left to supply our garden produce which keeps on growing.
We have apples, both cookers and eaters although the birds have found some of them before we picked them, I say leave some for everyone but I don't think the blackbirds are listening.
If anyone is listening, we could do with some more empty egg boxes, I hope Audlem has not forgotten how to recycle.
There will be free range eggs this week, along with beans, cakes, jams, damson chutney, multiple other preserves to choose from and stock up for the winter.
Honey stocks are getting low, but there are still a few jars left. There is plenty of fresh apple juice, and cider vinegar. Beeswax tea lights and candles are made, both pillar type and novelty ones.
There is always some Audlem surprises on the market. This week crab apple jelly and jerusalem artichokes with recipes.
Come along and take a look. 10am till noon this Saturday Lord C carpark.
