ECO3 funding for home heating

The new ECO3 incentive has now been released and is available for residents to claim – the goal of the scheme is to promote measures which improve the ability of low income, fuel poor and vulnerable households to heat their homes.

The document that can be read by clicking on the link below the photo has been provided by local resident Nic Goodwin of Storm Energy. Nic suggests that it might be a worthwhile effort to offer these services to residents of Audlem and surrounding areas

His thoughts are that he could, if requested, carry out an initial 'survey' and complete documentation (where applicable) for a nominal fee of, say, £40. He would also be able to advise householders on other energy saving aspects, such as hot water cylinder insulation, draught proofing, pipe lagging, boiler controls, boiler efficiencies, low energy lighting etc
