PARISH CLERK

Salary approx. £7296 to £8093 per annum

Due to unforeseen family circumstances, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an individual to work from home for 50 hours per month as Clerk / Responsible Financial Officer to Audlem Parish Council.

The role involves taking Minutes at a minimum of 13 evening meetings p.a. and carrying out the administrative and financial functions of the Council.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent communication, administrative and numerical skills and have a clean driving licence. They should have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; a willingness to read and research and be happy to work independently.

Although previous experience as a Clerk is preferred, training will be provided to the successful candidate.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE WORK

Audlem Parish Council is looking for an experienced and reliable self-employed tradesperson or local maintenance company to undertake general repairs to Parish Council property on an ad-hoc basis.

This will include painting, changing light bulbs and general repairs at the public conveniences; repair and maintenance of fences, noticeboards, benches and tables within the Parish as necessary.

Evidence will be required of current public liability insurance.
