On Monday 18 March the pre-election period will begin ahead of the Police & Crime Commissioner elections on Thursday 2 May.

I wanted to get in touch with you as one of our valued press contacts before the pre-election period starts, to give you some key information about the election and to let you know how our communications will change during this period.

Attached is a letter from the Chief Executive at the Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner (OPCC), Damon Taylor, setting out how the OPCC will continue to operate and manage our relationship with the candidates in this election.
