This week on Thursday, children in Amber class led a special class assembly for their parents. The event showcased some of their wonderfully imaginative writing together with dance work and their pop up books made in Design Technology.

I know the children were really excited about sharing their work with their families.
Well done to Mrs Stoker and her class for all of the hard work they put into this.
Pearl Class welcomed their parents and carers into school for their Literacy Coffee morning today.

They have been working together on instruction writing linked to things they have made and they have been having a wonderful time sharing their Literacy session together! We welcomed Year 3 and Year 4 Parents and Grandparents to school to join their children for lunch on Wednesday. The children were thrilled to be able to share their meal time with people from home and it was lovely to see so many adults sharing this experience. Thanks to Mrs Hayward for providing a delicious menu and to the rest of the team who did a wonderful job organising everyone and clearing everything up.

Our Learning Shack was completed over the weekend and it has already been put to great use this week! The children are enjoying using the outdoor space for some of their learning activities and what a wonderful weather week for us to begin to make use of it! Congratulations to Mr Heathcock for doing such a fantastic job with this.

A special monitor has been installed in our entrance area this week for us to showcase some
of the wonderful activities and work that take place in our school. The children have already
enjoyed looking for themselves in photographs of our Record Breaking Book Signing event and there will be more photographs and work added to the screen during each half term. We have only been able to purchase this wonderful resource as a result of FASA's fantastic fundraising work and our school community's support at their events. Many thanks to the whole FASA team and to you for your continued support.
