This week is National Children's Mental Health Week. The week is run by a school-based children's mental health charity called Place2Be. As part of this themed week, we have been encouraging the children across school to celebrate their uniqueness and to sense of their own selves so we all recognise the wonderful ways we all have qualities and talents to share and how special we all are.
In Monday's assembly Mrs Richardson encouraged children to have a positive view of themselves – when we do, this can help us to cope with life's challenges. We have also been focusing on recognising the different qualities of others which can allow us to connect with those around us – vital for our own and others' well-being.
A reminder that next Friends meeting will take place at 9.30am on Monday 12th February at Farm Made Tearoom in the village. Please do attend if you can.
Friend's next event will be Film Night for all of the children on Wednesday 28th February from 4.30pm – 6.30pm; please look out for more details about this very popular event coming soon.
