This is the latest report from Audlem St James' C of E Primary School. Highlights include:

Bright Colours for a Good Cause!

Well done to our School Parliament for organising our Rainbow Day in school today. This is our first fundraiser for School Parliament's chosen charity, Macmillan Cancer Support and what a wonderfully cheerful one it has been! School Parliament members decided that we would all dress up in brightly coloured clothes to show that even in the darkest times there can be brightness and that anyone facing cancer is not alone. It has been a great way to raise money for this worthwhile cause.

Sports News

We have had a busy sporting week in school! On Monday, Mrs Hayward and Mr Davies accompanied our Cross Country team to Malbank to take part in an inter-school cross country competition. Children ran 400, 800, 1200 or 1600 metres and our school was well represented with over 30 children taking part. Our school achieved 4th overall in the league of 16 schools and Year 3, 4 and 5 achieved 3rd overall for their respective year groups – a fantastic achievement! Well done everyone. Special congratulations to William Cole in Year 5 who came 2nd overall in the Year 5 race.
