Local cheesemaker Joseph Heler plans to pack out displays and scoop some top awards at this year's Nantwich Show.

The Hatherton-based company is to exhibit more than 100 cheeses at the showground on July 31st.

Thousands of cheeses will go on show at the event with prestigious awards handed out for the best cheesemakers in the land.

Joseph Heler believes their range of cheeses will be in the running for a top award after netting multiple accolades at Cheshire Show earlier this year.

The company's show stand will have an award-winning range that includes Red Leicester, Double Gloucester, Mature Cheddar and Cheshire, along with their new Red Leicester with Geeta's Authentic Indian Chutney.

Joseph Heler category manager, David Wells, said: "Not only is the show based here on our doorstep but it is also one the most esteemed of its kind in the world."

Last year's International Cheese Show at Nantwich received nearly 4,900 entries from 28 countries.

This year looks set to be just as big with large crowd expected to see celebrity chefs James Martin, Matt Tebbutt and Will Holland who will be there to meet the fans.
