Christine Johnson is leading next Saturday's walk which marks The Brooks Mill Circular 10th Anniversary 2009-2019

The stream at Brooks Mill had been impassable for many years before the crossing was reinstated in 2009 making the Brooks Mill Circular from Audlem possible. This 6 mile walk from the Public Hall car park in Audlem is very popular with those in the know.

Brooks Mill, hidden in the valley of Barnett Brook, is a delight and there is varied scenery throughout the walk. The elevated views above the River Duckow are particularly good.

Meet Audlem car park at 9.30 am

Note – see Peter Kay's article here for a detailed description of the walk.

NB All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.

Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.

Non-members of ARS are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two.
