Lease not agreed at Shroppie

I am really sorry to announce that I will not be taking the Shroppie Fly after all. I do not know what will happen to the pub, this is in the hands of Punch Taverns.

I would like to thank everyone for making me feel so welcome to the village and it is with great sadness that I say goodbye to a wonderful opportunity, I will however visit Audlem and I am glad to have found such a scenic spot.

AudlemOnline adds: As regular readers will be aware, the Shroppie Fly has re-opened but without its planned refurbishment that would have happened if Donna had taken on the lease.

Hopefully, Punch Taverns will be able to find a permanent lessee soon. We hear rumours that negotiations are underway with a possible licensee.
