Comedian Barry Cryer at Nantwich festival

Comedy legend Barry Cryer is among those performing at next week's Nantwich Words and Music Festival

There is live music, theatre and poetry throughout the festival which runs from October 7th to 13th.

The sixth festival looks set to be the best ever with Janice Long, Paper Aeroplanes, The Magic Numbers, Thea Gilmore, John Brawmwell, Simon Armitage, and Maddy Prior also among the top names to appear.

A few performances are already sold out but there is still plenty to see with poetry, cabaret and music at venues that include The Vine, Crown Hotel, Players Theatre, and the Malbank Studio Theatre.
