AudlemOnline hit the million mark just before noon today – that's the number of pages viewed by readers.
A great pity our editor wasn't about today to savour the event as he would have surely raised yet another glass of champagne to toast the occasion.
Our records show the site had notched up 446,313 visitors this year and at 11.53 am we had one million page views. When figures were updated at noon the number hit 1,000,018.
Figures are compiled by an independent company so we can honestly say they are as accurate as they can be.
The more geeky among you will have clicked on our 'visits today' link at the bottom of the home page which pops up a window with our latest figures, updated on the hour.
They show a monthly average of 45,270 visitors in 2013 clicking on an average 101,250 pages.
August was our most popular month with 54,073 visitors and October 11th our busiest day with a remarkable 2,243 visitors no doubt checking out the ADAS 'Citizens of the Year' award and to see Audlem village picking up no less than four county awards.
AudlemOnline is particularly proud to host the new History Archive run by Audlem History Society which we believe will prove of huge value and interest to future generations of readers.
The Webteam is always working hard to do even better and we always welcome suggestions so email the editor with any ideas, complaints or even offers of help!
More website improvements are in the pipeline and the Webteam looks forward to a record breaking year in 2013 and perhaps even our 500,000th visitor before the year is out.
