We are at it again, something a little different from the musicians in the area. We are on another mad night-out idea- The First Audlem Mash Up.

The Performance night will be held at the Scout Hall this Saturday October 19th, following on from the Mash Up generator draw held at the Lord Combermere music night on Thursday 3rd October what a night that was!.

Here's how it's going to work: a group of local Singer/Songwriters and musicians who play in the Audlem area, were added to the Mash Up generator and randomly selected to work with each other. Two pools of singer songwriters from which the songwriter partnerships were drawn out, and a pool of musicians from which the songwriter partnerships can draw on to create the performance. Excited yet? We are....

They have had two weeks to work together before putting on a unique, once in a life-time performance, suggested 3 tracks, will be performed at the World Famous Audlem Scout & Guide Hall music venue on Saturday 19th October 2013.

So, who's taking part you ask? The likes of singer/songwriters

  • Dave Nettleton & Kelly Brammer of the Folkwits
  • Jack Marshall & Kirsty Marshall of the Jack Marshall Band;
  • Alg Halliwell & Val Warner of Blue Cafe;
  • Oli Ng;
  • Ronan Haughey
  • Mike Waldron of Blue Cafe/Rootless Vagabonds
  • Pete Marshall of The Duffey Boys & the Wash
  • Darren Poyzer is in the Frame
  • Elly Kingdon
  • Wayne Capper of The Wash
  • and musicians the likes of Alisdair Mckenzie, and Mark Jones, and more are confirming daily.
