An apology from the editor

Readers may have been somewhat disappointed by the relative lack of activity on AudlemOnline yesterday.

We would like to apologise in particular to any Chatbox or Buy/Sell contributors who had to wait longer than normal for their posts to appear.

The reason for this inexcusable service is that the editor was getting married, an event that inevitably took up most of the day.

As the webteam were at the event and all were under strict instructions to turn off their laptops, tablets and smartphones during the service and speeches, AudlemOnline operations were affected adversely.

As the editor has promised never to do this sort of thing again, the webteam sincerely hope all will be back to normal today and into the future.

We also need to apologise for an errant apostrophe that appeared in one of yesterday's articles and was missed by the eagle-eyed subediting department in all the excitement.
