5 hours per week; £10.50 per hour, plus extra hours to cover for other staff
Following expansion of our services to meet increasing need in the past few years, Audlem & District Community Action (ADCA) are seeking an Assistant Coordinatorto join our services to older people and their carers in the Audlem area.
The successful candidate will be responsible to our Community Services Manager and will mainly help support our members at our Tuesday Day Club in Audlem Public Hall Annexe, as well as providing occasional cover as required for our lunch and coffee clubs in Audlem, Hankelow and Broomhall.
You must have a good understanding of and be sympathetic to the needs of vulnerable older people, along with good communication and organisational skills.
You must be able to assist in the provision of nutritious meals.
You must be able to assist people in a flexible and non-judgemental way, recognising that people have the right to live in the manner of their choosing.
You must have access to your own transport, as you will be working in different venues across Audlem and District. Expenses will be paid.
People with experience of supporting vulnerable people in paid, voluntary or family roles are welcome to apply.
Note: Appointment is subject to DBS clearance and a probationary period.
