Editor's comment :- Back in 2019 Pete Morgan had an article published "In Defence of Cows" (there is a link below). It seems that Pete is being corrected on his Cow Count (albeit some 7 years later!). One reason could be that Pete counted the number of legs instead of heads! Or is it just cow population growth?
I noticed that your article references an outdated stat. Specifically, you mentioned that there are "1.4 billion" cows in the world. Based on our most recent data, these figures have been updated, and According to the latest data, The Number of Cows Worldwide is 1.5 Billion.
As one of the leading organizations in advocacy, It's the World Animal Foundation's utmost duty to ensure such statistics are current, not just on our platform but also on other relevant platforms.
Having recently revised our article with the latest statistics, I wanted to share this so you might consider a similar update.
For your reference and to verify the latest statistics, kindly visit our page: https://worldanimalfoundation.org/advocate/how-many-cows-are-in-the-world/.
To provide your audience with the latest data, we'd be grateful if you could link to our article when making the update.
Thank you for your attention to this.
Best Regards.
