Hello would the gentleman who had an exercise bike on buy and sell could you please re send address many thanks
One of my favourites is a richness of martens.
The clocks will soon be going back back, the nights are drawing in, and the trees are dressed in their glorious autumnal foliage. In our skies geese are flying in their distinctive wedge formations, the augury that Winter is coming. They are later this year due to the recent milder temperatures. This 'V' shape is known as a skein or a wedge and it helps the flock fly faster as the front bird breaks the wall of air ahead, leaving a wake of swirling air behind which propels the next bird forward, so each bird gets some help from the one in front. The leader will then drop back and another goose will take its place.
There are however, other collective nouns for geese when in flight including a team and in other parts of the world a chevron (it`s easy to see why).
For transparency and objectivity, Geese are not the only birds that travel in skeins; the term also refers to ducks and other migratory birds that travel in flocks.
For those readers who like collective nouns for types of birds. There's a mischief of Magpies, a parliament of owls, a murder of crows etc all to be seen in our great village. Some of the more descriptive are for various mammals eg a dazzle of Zebras and a crash of Rhinos neither of which can be found locally unfortunately
Thank you to everyone for all your kind suggestions. I shall follow them up and see what happens. Hopefully they will find a new home!
Fantastic to see the skeins of geese flying over the village

Morning, there is a record shop in Nantwich down Love Lane. I have bought some from there. The man is very helpful.
Once again team a brilliant show made possible by a brilliant team . Thanks to everybody for making this village such a showcase. Perhaps a team photo would go down well on A O L. You deserve the publicity.
Royston Vasey maybe?
When our own home grown potatoes have finished, we always go to Brown's Bank Farm, Whitchurch Rd. (Mr Callwood). They are very good value. We can definitely recommend them.

Does anyone know where, locally, I can purchase a large bad of potatoes (56lbs). I would prefer a local ish farm.
I would like to echo Jenny's comments of congratulations to the ADAS team on their wonderful Gold win for a second year running. Bravo indeed! Aren't we lucky to live in a village where so many people volunteer to do so many different things for the good of the community. Well done to all of you. And very many thanks.
I would also like to add my appreciation and congratulations to ADAS on their Gold. Also to thank them for their hard work and dedication in giving the Village such a superb floral display throughout the year. As I have said before we are all fortunate to live in such great village.
Thankyou so much to all ADAS members who work so hard to keep Audlem look so magnificent! The blooms are so welcoming to all the visitors to the village. Congratulations to you all! You well deserve your gold award!

Hi Chloe,
Further to your chat box entry re vintage records, I know of a very talented up and coming local artist, who maybe interested in taking these off your hands.
He is based near Newcastle and if you google "Ben Riley Art YouTube" you will see what he does with these!
He has appeared on the One Show and has built up quite a portfolio of famous clients.
Please contact me via the editor if interested and I will speak with Ben to arrange contact etc.
Regards,
David.
Is there a Pilates class on Saturday in Audlem and if so how do I join ?
Hi Chloe! Just to confirm...are these all classical music vinyls? Thank you ☺️
Chloe, St Luke's hospice run a book/record shop in Northwich. We have monthly pickups from them and would be happy to store your records at the Audlem Charity Shop – their next pick up is on 31 October. Hope this helps. We are open on Saturday.
