Hello Andrew. Totaly agree regarding the Buy/Sell page.
Anyway; regarding your request. As much as I love my old cars, I don't have, nor ever will have, a 1964 Aston Martin DB5 Mk II. However....a friend of mine does happen to have such a vehicle of which you speak! I don't know a lot about it other than he's looking for around £10,500, it's gold in colour, it's got a fully working ejector seat, all guns that come out the front and it's in it's original Corgi box. He say's if I can get £10,500 for it, he'll give me £9.500, his lawnmower, a ferret and a medal for Valor. I'll await your call. ;-)
Is the Shroppie Fly closing Monday 13th? Asking on behalf of my dog – one of his favourite stop offs.
Hello Audlem
May I thank Jackie Thompson for her garden hose, no sooner did I make the request than she helped me...I'm loving the exchanges.
Andy Carr, sorry I can't help with the car will a Dinky Toy do?
Jennie
There was a Hurdy Gurdy meeting at the Shroppie Fly in November 2019, which I came upon by accident. The event was well attended. I was led to understand it was an annual meeting. I don't think there has been another meeting since, a virus got in the way! I'm guessing it may have been a local group which organised it.
In these economically challenging times, it's wonderful to see so many items being exchanged between Audlem residents at no cost – not only does this have an obvious financial benefit, but it's also an ecologically friendly way of preventing unwanted goods ending up in landfill. Furthermore, these exchanges also bolster the community spirit that is so prevalent here in Audlem.
In that vein, does anybody have a 1964 Aston Martin DB5 Mk II that they no longer need? I'm prepared to be flexible over the colour and would be happy to collect. Thanks.
Moira, Isn't that what husbands are for!? LOL Bob

Hello lovely people of Audlem.
We're looking to fit a garden hose for use outside. Does anyone have any fittings and hose pipe they don't need anymore.
Let me know it would save my garden from drought and me from fatigue!!
Thanks.

Hi Celia are there any more history leaflets around the village? Our rally is fast approaching and i need 14 more for our visitors. I am happy to fill in the corrections if they haven't been done and collect them if needs be.

Hello all. Does anyone know if Adderley Garage (or in fact ANY garage nearby) can supply a courtesy car whilst work is on-going? I need to get my motor in ASAP but additional transport would be super-helpful! Thanks in advance.
Can anyone recommend local plumber and/or electrician for small household jobs?
Thanks
Thank you so much to everyone who sent messages to us (by phone, text, Chatbox and also in person) about Paul who took part in the Queen's Birthday Parade last Thursday. It was lovely to hear from so many people about him.
We were very proud to see him on tv, but we were also proud of EVERYONE taking part that day. They were all absolutely brilliant!
Just home from a lovely afternoon in the Public Hall. ADCA and volunteers certainly did the village proud. Good food and good entertainment from young and not-so-young.
Audlem Brownies got us off to a good start, and then the Theatre group's Youth section put on a sterling show. A wonderful spread was very enjoyable and I won't need to eat again today and maybe even tomorrow.
I love Audlem Voices and enjoyed the special version of their intro song...We are the Choir. The conductor, Jenny Collis-Smith , was on edge...of the stage so I feel many of us breathed a sigh of relief when she managed to turn successfully each time.
Great to have a sing-along to finish with, and given the age of many of us we knew the words even if, in my case at least, couldn't reach all the notes!
I am sad to miss the concert on the 17th. June in the Church. If Australian family were not arriving at Heathrow that day I would be there.
Thanks for a wonderful Jubilee afternoon.
Dose anybody no of a Hurdy Gurdy meeting in Audlem I have been told it's in November?
Thanks Don
Jenny and Mark, Paul made yourselves, the Royal family and the country extremely proud yesterday. It was absolutely amazing and emotional to watch. Please send our thanks and congratulations.

Does anyone know of the man who was looking for his ginger cat on Broadways? Did he find it? If he didn't, I might have information for him.
Well done Paul! The whole event was magnificent. Congratulations from the Johnson family including Major Robert from Italy
I think the Collis-Smith family must be very proud of Paul. I am not normally an avid watcher of these events but I found today's Jubilee celebration commencement very moving and at last gave something to be happy about being British.
I am in awe of the way the men and horses performed, a bit nervous at times though.
Well done everyone!
