This is the detailed description of the ADAPT bid for a share of the Participatory budget.,

This money is Public Health funding with the aim of improving overall health and well being and applicants have to demonstrate that their bids support this.

The other two Audlem based applications come from ADAPT and the Community Gym – it is vital to have as many people as possible at Nantwich Civic Centre before 10am on 21 January, to listen to the presentations, and then vote.

The ADCA bid

ADCA is bidding for Participatory Budgets Funding for £5,880 so as to be able to provide a new day club in the Audlem Public Hall Annexe when it opens in autumn 2017. This new day club would operate alongside our successful day club at Hankelow Chapel. There is a growing need our services which this proposed increase in our services will help to meet.

ADCA services help to combat rural isolation and provide social activity and friendship for our members, as well as for our volunteers. The 'all ages' approach to provision at the new Annexe in the centre of the village will also benefit our members as ADCA will be better able to link in older people to the range of new and existing activities which the Public Hall offers.

ADCA is very much reliant on our band of over 40 volunteers who provide support to our staff at the day club and coffee club, run our office based medical transport service, visit people at home within our befriending service and also provide transport to day, coffee club and for medical appointments. In order to expand our services into the new Public Hall Annexe we will need even more volunteers – so if you are interested in becoming one – please contract us on our office number -1270 747163 and we will get back to you.
