Work starts on church roof

You may have noticed the scaffolding being erected at the North face of the Church.

This is because over the next few weeks the North roof is being repaired following the theft of lead. The work is programmed to finish by 18th October.

This work has been made possible through the generous gifts and support of many local people and we have almost, but not fully, raised the finances needed to complete the works – it is therefore not too late to contribute.

We ask that that all residents keep an eye on the site for intruders while scaffolding is in place rendering the roof more accessible than normal.
