ADCA Sponsors Audlem Bowling Club's 2026 Annual Awards Lunch

ADCA Sponsors Audlem Bowling Club's 2026 Annual Awards Lunch

Following a memorable summer visit to the green back in July, the Audlem District Community Action Group (ADCA) is delighted to build upon its growing friendship with Audlem & District Bowling Club by sponsoring the venue for the club's upcoming Annual Awards Lunch, scheduled for Sunday, 22nd November 2026.

The sponsorship comes as a heartfelt token of appreciation for the exceptional warmth and hospitality extended to ADCA members, staff, and volunteers during their recent taster afternoon on the green.

Giving Back to a Welcoming Host

During that sunny afternoon in July, ADCA members and volunteers were treated to expert coaching, gentle encouragement, and endless patience from club hosts John and Sylvia Stead. The visit proved to be an absolute tonic for all who attended boosting wellbeing, fostering friendly competition, and inspiring several attendees to take up crown green bowling regularly.

In recognition of the club's dedication to creating an inclusive, community-spirited environment where people of all ages and mobility levels can thrive, ADCA stepped forward to cover the venue costs for this year's celebratory gathering.

Celebrating Shared Community Values

Both organizations share a deep commitment to enriching village life, combating isolation, and encouraging local residents to stay active and connected.

Speaking about the sponsorship, representatives from ADCA highlighted how naturally the partnership came together:

"The bowling club made our members feel so truly welcome and valued during our visit. Sponsoring the venue for their 2026 Annual Awards Lunch is a small way for us to say a huge thank you for their generosity, while celebrating all the fantastic achievements of their bowlers over the past season."

Audlem & District Bowling Club extends its sincere thanks to ADCA for their generous support, and both groups look forward to continuing their fruitful collaboration in the seasons ahead.
