Audlem Ramblers Walk Sat 14th Nov
Jan Campbell is leading the Long ARS walk from Grindon on Saturday 14th November leaving Audlem Car Park at 8 am.
This delightful, scenic 7.5 mile walk begins at the hilltop village of Grindon (about 9 miles from Leek) and descends to a lovely valley below Ossoms Hill. Following the railway track we pass Thor's Cave ( a possible detour for some). We leave the track at Weag's Bridge to gain height by walking up a short, sharp incline. Travelling south through fields and the hamlet of Back o'th'Brook where we turn north to follow a Holloway track to join a lane leading back to Grindon.
