Work at Audlem Locks

The Canal & River Trust will be carrying out repairs to the canal network this coming winter.

The trust has announced which stretches of canals in the county are to be closed during the coming months as it carries out repair and restoration work costing about £800,000.

Work will take place at Audlem Locks from November 6th starting at 8am to December 15th at 4pm.

This will involve:

Replacing the top and bottom gates on Lock 2
Repairing the underwater by-wash on Local 9
Replacing the top and bottom gates on Lock 14
