As readers of Audlem Online read yesterday, for the last three years Audlem has won the Best Kept Village Award. And this year we received the highest possible honour when we were presented with an Award for Excellence. Cheshire Community Action obviously like and respect the village – but what do you think?
On Saturday, the question is being asked: "What's so good about Audlem?" Come along to the Scout & Guide Hall in Cheshire Street to hear more, and comment on an important document that has been painstakingly prepared describing the village and the surrounding countryside.
There will also be a display of children's art and the opportunity to see and hear about the latest plans for an indoor Youth & Sports facility in Audlem – and you may be surprised at how this idea is developing!
Come along any time between 11.00am and 4.30pm to the Scout & Guide Hall and have your say, or just find out what's going on. It should be of interest to anyone who is interested in how our community is recording how Audlem is now, and is facing up to the future.
