What makes Audlem so special?

Whilst walking our very excitable rescue dog today in a very quiet place we came across a runner with two (we think) well behaved dogs.

They were one side of a stile and big hedge and on the other side our dog was very excited/anxious and whilst I tried to keep our dog calm my wife spoke through the hedge to the other person. They offered to take a diversion to help us out.

Those who don't perhaps have dogs may not understand our difficulties in this situation. However we were so very grateful for the offer.

What makes Audlem special is the consideration shown and also the fact that the runner took the time to leave a very kind note on our windscreen back at the road.

Hopefully this person follows AOL and will recognize this and accept our thanks.
